Twenty Three

Yesterday was my 23rd birthday and it was perfect.

I went to Balthazar for a delicious dinner

Then to the the new Valentino documentary, Valentino: The Last Emperor

It was fabulous....

  

And to make the movie even cooler Andre Leon Talley 

(American editor at large for Vogue) 

and Matt Tymauer (THE director and producer of the film) 

were there to introduce it and do a Q and A with the audience

To end the night off I went to one of my favorite little dessert Cafes, Cafe Lalo, for some scrumptious birthday cake

All celebrated with my good friend Amanda

I couldn't ask for a better NYC birthday.

This past Saturday I got to chill with Susan Sarandon...

When I lived in Milan,  Italy I became really great friends with Giovanni and Rachael Criscione.  This past weekend they came to visit NYC with their new baby Charlotte!  I loved being able to spend some time with them and meet their beautiful baby girl.   They are such AWESOME people.   Anyways Giovanni is related to Susan somehow so we got to go meet up with her for a bit.  It was really cool and felt strangely normal.  Susan is very petite and really looks great!  I also got to meet John Cusack, who is surprisingly tall, but  I was too scared to ask him for a picture...
